  1. Does Answer offer other workshop topics that are not listed here?

    Yes, our trainers can tailor a workshop to meet the specific needs of your group, school or agency and can also modify workshops we already offer. We cannot, however, provide one workshop for all professionals K-12; it has been our experience that one-size-fits-all workshops are ineffective at meeting participants’ needs. We segment our workshops by grade level and offer them for professionals working with elementary, middle or high school students.

  1. Can Answer provide a workshop for my conference?

Yes, Answer can provide workshops for state, regional and national conferences. Most of our in-service workshop topics can be modified to meet the needs of conference agendas. For conferences in New Jersey, contact Todd Slawsky or call 732-445-7929 ext. 237. For conferences outside of New Jersey, contact Nora Gelperin or call 732-445-7929 ext. 242.

  1. Can Answer provide workshops for schools or agencies outside of New Jersey?

Yes, Answer can provide workshops for schools or agencies anywhere in the United States. Trainings outside of New Jersey require travel expenses to be covered in addition to our fee.  Review our list of clients to see some of the locations where we have trained.  Click here.

  1. What are the fees for an Answer workshop?

Our workshops are priced on a sliding scale. For organizations within New Jersey, the cost for a full-day (6-hour) workshop is $1,500 and a half-day (3- hour) workshop is $1,000. These fees include the trainer’s fee, travel expenses and all materials for participants. For workshops held outside of New Jersey, the daily rate is $2,000 plus all travel expenses.   1. Does Answer provide workshops for teens?

No, Answer does not have the staffing to provide workshops for teens. Answer only provides workshops for health professionals that work with young people in grades K-12.

  1. How far in advance should I contact Answer to schedule a workshop?

Ideally, Answer needs a minimum of four weeks notice before the anticipated workshop date. We may not be able to accommodate last-minute requests since we are typically booked months in advance. Answer can hold dates as far out as a year in advance, and we prefer to have enough time to plan all of the details to ensure that the training meets your needs and expectations.

  1. Does Answer offer continuing education units (CEUs) or professional development credits for workshop participants?

At the conclusion of a workshop, all attendees will receive a professional development certificate that outlines the number of professional development hours they have completed. In addition, we also offer Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) category I credits and social work certificates for New Jersey social workers. In order to receive CHES credits or a social work certificate, please bring your member number or social work identification number with you to the workshop.

For all other professionals, please check with your district, organization or accreditation body to see if our workshop will count towards your professional development requirements.
