Understanding Male Learners
Making Sex Ed Relavent for Boys

It seems that every day there is new research emerging about the “crisis” of boys’ education levels in the United States. As a professional in the field of sexual health, you may be seeing behaviors that lead you to believe this is true. Do the boys in your class seem immature? Disinterested? Perhaps these behaviors don’t reflect a crisis, but a need for more varied teaching techniques that help boys see the content as relavent and important. This webinar will focus on strategies, lesson plans and recommendations for making sexuality education more relavant for the needs of boys, based on how they learn and what they need to know about sexual health.
