ETR’s authoritative materials provide people with the necessary information and skills to lead healthier lives. Members of Sex, Etc.’s teen editorial staff authored three pamphlets and video-extension scripts as part of ETR’s Living Pamphlet series. The topics include Sex and Technology, Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships and Sex Myths.
GroundSpark, an organization that ignites change through film. GroundSpark creates visionary films and dynamic educational campaigns that move individuals and communities to take action for a more just world. Their most recent film, Straightlaced, features students from all walks of life illustrating the toll that deeply held stereotypes and rigid gender policing have on all of our lives. Sexetc.org features clips from this film, and Answer’s training department features the film in trainings.
It’s Your Sex Life, a public information campaign driven by a partnership between MTV and the Kaiser Family Foundation. Answer provided frequently asked questions about teen pregnancy and parenting for MTV’s online content about their hit show, Teen Mom.
Scenarios USA, a non-profit organization that uses writing and filmmaking to foster youth leadership, advocacy and self-expression in underserved teens. Scenarios USA asks teens to write about the issues that shape their lives for the annual “What’s the REAL DEAL?” writing contest. Each year, thousands of teens respond. Answer staff regularly review the scripts for this contest. In addition, Sexetc.org features Scenarios videos in the Videos section of the site.
gURL.com, a content-exchange partnership with the iVillage-owned, popular teen girl Web site. Answer provided gURL.com with several sections of Sexetc.org’s Frequently Asked Questions in exchange for publishing gURL’s groundbreaking comix.
