Sexuality and the Internet

Ever feel like you're not in Kansas anymore when it comes to sexuality? Well, you’re not. It’s 2007 and a brand new world, with ever-changing technological advances. One of these, the Internet, has been a blessing and a curse—it has given people greater access to information than ever before, yet has also opened up a new gateway to sexual bullying, manipulation and abuse.  In this training, we will learn about teens’ current Internet habits, about networking sites like MySpace, Xanga and Facebook, and about how to protect young people from dangers while still allowing them the freedom to connect with their friends in cyberspace.
